Where can I exchange coins for dollars without losing a huge percentage?

I have a great number of half dollars, and I want cash, I feel silly paying for dinner in half dollars. But coinstar will charge something ridiculous like 10% any suggestions?

My bank will take coins and run them through their counter at no charge for me. Check with you bank and see if they will do the same thing.
